GURUS AND DISCIPLES.
There are Gurus who imply that they have found the TRUTH, a single TRUTH for all problems. And they have Disciples to follow them, who are themselves are Seekers of Truth, since the Gurus never disclose the TRUTH they have found. Since these Gurus never explain what that TRUTH is or how one can find the same, they are either cheaters or false Gurus or both.
Hence, TRUTH becomes an assumed thing, an assumption not even based on known facts as in science, therefore an Unknown thing. How one can find an Unknown thing?
Jiddu Krishnamurti, OSHO, Ramana Maharishi, etc., are example of such Gurus.
Truth OR Truths are not the final destination of the salvation, Freedom from sufferings, Nibbana, Enlightenment. Truths are the beginning of the journey to the Freedom from sufferings, Nibbana.
The FIRST TRUTH in that journey is the TRUTH OF SUFFERINGS. This means that most people don't understand that they are suffering, hence they don't search for the freedom from suffering.
Buddhist practice of Bhavana begins with some basic understanding of Four Truths of The Path, where Suffering is the First Truth of the Path.
